Privacy Policy

This is the Privacy Policy for the WOD Matrix mobile app. See also the Terms of Service and the WOD Matrix app page.

1. Introduction

Namreh LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WOD Matrix mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy. WOD Matrix is designed as a local-only application — your personal training data (PRs, workouts, journal entries, and media) is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

All data you enter into WOD Matrix — including personal records, workout logs, journal entries, notes, and attached photos or videos — is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, access, or store this data on any server.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

WOD Matrix displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. As part of delivering ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:

  • Device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID / IDFA)
  • IP address
  • Device type, operating system, and version
  • General location data (country/region level, derived from IP address)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected by Google, not by Namreh LLC. We do not receive or store this information.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or any contact information
  • Your precise location
  • Health or fitness data beyond what you voluntarily enter in the App (which stays on your device)
  • Crash reports or usage analytics (v1)
  • Any data from users we know to be under the age of 13

3. How We Use Information

Namreh LLC does not collect personal data from WOD Matrix users. Therefore, we do not use your personal data for any purpose. Google AdMob uses the automatically collected device information described in Section 2.2 to serve relevant advertisements. 4. Advertising

WOD Matrix is free to download and displays banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. Users may permanently remove all advertisements through a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads").

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, we request permission to track your device for advertising purposes via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads. The App functions fully regardless of your choice.

Opting Out of Personalized Ads

  • iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

5. Data Storage & Security

All data you create in WOD Matrix is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Isar DB) and your device's file system (for photos and videos). This data:

  • Is never transmitted to Namreh LLC or any third party by us
  • Is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, etc.)
  • May be included in your device's local backup (iCloud or Google Backup) depending on your device settings

We recommend enabling device-level security (passcode or biometric lock) to protect your data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you control it entirely:

  • To delete your data: Delete the App from your device. All locally stored data will be permanently removed.
  • To delete specific entries: Use the delete function within the App (PR entries, WOD entries, and media can be deleted individually).
  • Backup data: If you have iCloud or Google Backup enabled, your app data may be included in those backups. Deleting the app from your device does not delete iCloud/Google backups — manage those through your device's backup settings.

7. Children's Privacy

WOD Matrix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to address the situation.

8. Third-Party Services

WOD Matrix integrates the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob — Display banner advertisements (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • RevenueCat — Process in-app purchases (revenuecat.com/privacy)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

RevenueCat & In-App Purchases

If you purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). RevenueCat facilitates purchase verification. RevenueCat may collect a device identifier and purchase receipt for this purpose. No payment card information is ever shared with Namreh LLC.

9. Your Rights

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Since Namreh LLC does not collect or sell personal information, these rights are satisfied by design. For AdMob-related data, please refer to Google's privacy controls.

EEA / UK Residents (GDPR)

Residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and objection regarding personal data. Since Namreh LLC does not collect personal data, these rights apply primarily to AdMob's data collection. AdMob will present a consent prompt to EEA/UK users before collecting data for personalized advertising.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
